Self-indulgent Saturday!

Yesterday we declared the day, 'Self-Indulgent Saturday' and filled the day with pampering and treats...

To a soundtrack of She & Him's new christmas album, we started off with a mini spring (autumn?) clean of the house. Clear house, clear mind and all that...!



We made some super yummy real rose tea... we've ran out of Twinnings Lavender tea now too...Twee Troubles: part deux.








We then made delicious hot chocolate with squirty cream and took a break from our usual literature reads to have relax and peruse through some girly mags (with mini donut... or two!)


Dinner time was a mexican picnic... Tacos!


Raiding Little M's stash of felt, we thought that we'd make some cute little woodland creature masks! We originally planned to make these for Halloween with Little M but time ran away with us a little bit. We popped on The Boat That Rocked (great film, amazing soundtrack!) and started cutting and sticking...






A deer for Rhi, a fox for Lola and a wide eyed owl for Little M!
After X-Factor we decided to get our groove on with 'Just Dance' for the wii! Bloomin' heck, we lasted about four songs before collapsing on the sofa. I think it was Boney M's Rasputin that truely killed us, we're just not cut out for Russian moves...
