Twee Towers // Garden Makeover

Hey Sweets,

You may or may not have noticed that we skipped over our garden during our Twee Towers Tour... and we did explain why after our woeful attempts at gardening ourselves, but now that the rest of the house is pretty much complete (not that this will stop us continuing to add and touch up - living room could do with a Spring lift) - it is time to turn our attention back to the garden at the towers of Twee ahead of a lovely summer full of picnics and entertaining...

Have been hunting out inspiration for our dream English Garden - from The Secret Garden film to Tim Walker's fantastical and whimsical photography. Dreaming of Mad Hatter garden parties, bluebell blankets, wildflower explosions, rose covered trellis, perfumed violet flowers, lilacs, alliums and lavender, literal flower beds (wow!), distressed painted woods, an overgrown wonderland...

We've started a garden inspiration Pinboard, which we'll continue to add to, but as Spring has officially sprung it's probably time to get planting ASAP (we're not being over ambitious, right?)... Wish us luck... we'll need it!

Much love,
R&L xx

Can't wait to see finished garden photos, I do love the idea of light filled dresses hanging from the trees! :)

That dress picture is fantastic! How amazing would that be to actually have?! Have fun gardening...I suck at keeping ours kept.

Ooh so inspiring! We just got a brand new fence in after the last one blew right down in the storms last month.

It's really motivated me to get the rest of the garden done and this has given me some great ideas.
